Variations of the Janko 6 x 6 layout
Ken Rushton advocates a 6 row Janko layout modified so that the top three rows are shifted by an octave, similar to a double manual piano.
Other enhancements to the Janko layout are possible. These could be referred to as enhanced Janko, or Janko+ for short.
